Nudist beach Zandvoort
Project Noordvoort
The
project Noordvoort was started in 2013 with the aim of tight sand dike between Zandvoort and Noordwijk more natural. The dunes between beach posts 70 and 73 have been soded off in some places in order to restart the natural process of sand drift. A viewing point has been made on the dune top at beach pole 72. At the time, this had few consequences for recreation on the beach. At the end of 2018, the implementation of the second phase of the project started, which does have a lot of influence on the beach itself. Between pole 70 and 73, with the last kilometer of the Zandvoort nudist beach, the beach has been turned into a beach reserve where recreation on the beach is discouraged. This part of the beach is not a prohibited area and can still be used by the true peace lover. The area is marked on both sides of the beach with a row of posts across the beach from the foot of the dune to the sea. A fairly natural path has been constructed through the dunes, so that walkers do not have to cross the dune reserve. The dune path, however, is barely walkable and runs through three sand pits with steep slopes. The path is marked with posts every 300 meters, but it remains difficult to follow. Hikers will often break off the route at the beginning and continue on the beach. Two new viewpoints will be constructed on the path next to the existing viewpoint.

Information signs on the posts point out to walkers the newly constructed route through the dunes. This path is not suitable for a naked walk, but you can just walk quietly on the beach, as is also the case for horse riders.

The path is walked from the Zandvoort side and starts at post 70.
The beginning of the path is well signposted, but there is an immediate steep climb in the loose sand.
A little later there is little path to discover, just follow the coast line.
The first big challenge; a dust pit.
Ha a pole, so still on the route, with a work of art in the distance.
Art or not, a nice place to sit for a rest.
The path is now a bit better.
Piles are now visible again.
