The nudist beach near the Westduinpark is the northernmost of the two nudist beaches on the Zuiderstrand in The Hague.
In the period between 2008 and 2011, the entire coast between Hoek van Holland and Scheveningen was reinforced. At the Westduinpark, the dunes were wide enough and only the beach was sprayed on. The beach has become much wider as a result and the Delfland heads (breakwaters) have largely disappeared under the sand.
Nude recreation is permitted over a length of 500 meters between pole 104 and 105. (about 100 meters before dam 34 to dam 35). This area is signposted on the beach. View here the information board of The Hague Zuidstrand 8.
On the nudist beach it says the beach pavilion @thebeach. Nudity is only allowed on the terrace on the north side of the pavilion, the rest of the terrace and the pavilion are clothed.
There is a shower at the beach pavilion. The beach pavilion Millersbeach is located 80 meters from the southern border.
There is no bath supervision on the nudist beach, the nearest rescue post is located 170 meters from the southern border, near the beach entrance 7.
