On the north side of Stavoren are on the IJsselmeer, two small sandy beaches where beach recreation takes place. On one of these two beaches, the rear, nude recreation has been tolerated for a long time. The nudist beach can be reached via the industrial estate of Stavoren.
The nudist beach, with a small sandy beach on the water, lies on the dike of the IJsselmeer. There is a continuous cycle path at the rear. In the area grazing takes place by sheep, who also use the sandy beaches. There are no facilities on the nudist beach.
The swimming water is clear. Due to the slowly sloping bottom, up to approximately 1.80 meters at the end of the main dams, the swimming water is also suitable for untrained swimmers. However, it has no defined swimming area.
