The seaside resort of Rockanje in the municipality of Voorne is located on one of the (former) South Holland islands. The dune area of Voorne, which runs from the Haringvlietdam to the Brielse Gatdam, is considered one of the most beautiful in the Netherlands. The approximately 8 km long beach has a view of Goeree-Overflakkee (south) and the Maasvlakte (north). Rockanje has two beach entrances, at the most northern one, at the Tweede Slag beach entrance, a section is intended for nude recreation.
Nude recreation is permitted between pole 10.6 and 11.4. In practice, nude recreation takes place a short distance from the bathing beach (from post 11.8). On the official part of the nudist beach, a large part of the dune side has been cordoned off as a bird breeding area / Natura 2000 area.
There are no facilities on the beach. There are two beach pavilions at the beach entrance on the textile beach.
There is no bathing supervision on the nudist beach. The nearest beach station is at the Eerste Slag beach entrance, about 1500 meters from the southern border.
There are some sandbanks in front of the beach, which makes the sea very calm here.

Het zwemseizoen is momenteel gesloten, vanaf 1 mei wordt de zwemwaterkwaliteit weer gecontroleerd.
