Nudist beach Monster
The Zandmotor for the beach

The northern hook of the Zandmotor is in front of the relocated Monster nudist beach. In 2011, a swimming ban was in force here during the entire beach season. For unclear reasons, even after the construction of the Zandmotor has been completed, a bathing ban is still in force here.

Some photos submitted by Bert from November 2011 show that the head of the Zandmotor is almost connected to the coast. Silt formation has also already been observed in the lagoon in front of the nudist beach.

The channel between the beach and the Zandmotor is approximately 10 meters wide and 1 meter deep at low tide.



Ahead, the lagoon is about another 150 meters wide. Because there is hardly any surf anymore, the "sea feeling" has disappeared here.
