Due to its central location in the heart of the Bollenstreek, Noordwijkthe nickname Flower seaside resort of Europe. The 13 kilometer long beachvan Noordwijk borders for a large part on the beautiful nature reserve Hollands Duin. On two quiet stretches of beach to the northvan Noordwijk nude recreation is allowed.

Nude recreation is officially allowed between pole 74 and 73. The area shrunk in May 2008; between posts 73 and 71.5the official nudist beach will be cancelled, but in practice it will bethis area is still used for nude recreation.
The dilapidated nudist beach section ends at the municipality borderZandvoort (pole 71.5). Here a section of textile beach starts with alength of 500 meters, after which the nudist beach of Zandvoort begins. View here the information boards at the beach entrances 27 and 28.
Early 2013 between beach post 70 and 73 the project Noordvoort realized. In a number of places it is straight withmarram grass-covered strip of sand brought the spray back on, so that therea natural, gradual transition is created from sea to dunes. Beepole 72 is a viewpoint made of the sand that has been released atthe excavation of the existing row of dunes.At the end of 2018, this area was designated as a beach reserve. On this 3 kilometer long Noordvoort strandreservaat recreation on the beach is not the intention, but it is not hereforbidden. For more information with some pictures look here.
There are no facilities on the nudist beach. At the beach entranceLangevelderslag (not on the beach) are various facilities, such as a snack bar, Beach Club, beach restaurant, trampoline jumping and a guarded bicycle shed.
There is no direct bath supervision on the nudist beach, the nearest rescue station is at thebeach entrance Langevelderslag.
De dichtstbijzijnde officiële zwemwaterlocatie is Noordwijk aan Zee op 3600 meter afstand. Voor uitgebreide informatie over deze zwemwaterlocatie, kijk op de site van zwemwater.nl.
