Free parking in a small parking lot. There is approximately room for 4 cars here. There are also various parking options in the area.
There is a step over the fence at the parking lot.
Turn left to the puddle.
Go to the nudist beach via the first or the second headland. Via the first headland, a small piece must be waded through the water.

The nudist beach can be reached by canoe. Although there is an open connection to the Maas, the lake is not accessible to boats.

On the left the lake and on the right the Maas. In the background the Maasbrug near Empel. There is a lowered section in this dike, so that the Hedelse Bovenwaard can be used as water storage at high water. There is also a beautiful sandy beach here.
The ford on the west side of the lake. The water is about 0.50 meters deep here. Crossing should take into account gravel stones on the bottom.
On the other side, at a small parking lot, there is the information board over the Hedelse Bovenwaard. The nudist beach is also easily accessible via this park. (walk about 600 meters extra).
