The seaside resort of Groote Keeten is located between Den Helder and Callantsoog. The beach is one of the widest beaches in the province of North Holland.
Nudist recreation is allowed on the beach section between pole 8.4 and 9.4. The area is signposted. The entire nudist beach is also an off-leash area for dogs.
In practice, nudist recreation takes place between posts 7.75 and 9.6.
There are no facilities on the nudist beach.
The beach pavilion is located at Strandslag 8, Groote Keeten 'Four Clover' present. (not naturist).
There is no direct bath supervision on the nudist beach, the nearestlifeguard post is at the beach entrance Groote Keeten. Breaking dams are present every 200 meters along the entire length of the beach, which are not visible at high tide. Swimming close to the breakwaters is very dangerous. Swimming within 25 m of the dam is prohibited

Het zwemseizoen is momenteel gesloten, vanaf 1 mei wordt de zwemwaterkwaliteit weer gecontroleerd.
