Free parking on the dike is a thing of the past, with the arrival of two large parking lots. In good beach weather, the parking lot is already too small. Parking on the east side (Breskens side). Cross the dunes at the sand path.

The beach pavilion
Van Houten beach bar (formerly beach pavilion MagDat), is now on the beach. Nudity on the terrace is unfortunately not allowed. View

Due to the raising of the beach, the breakwater piles have largely disappeared under the sand. Yet it remains dangerous to swim near these poles.

At 't Killetje, a
tidal culvert has been realized. This gives the salty seawater access to Waterdunen to create a tidal area here.
