25-01-2023 De gemeente is van plan de Galderse Meren een upgrade te geven. Gelukkig blijft naaktrecreatie behouden, maar het naaktstrand wordt wel veel kleiner en wordt verplaatst naar de westzijde, dichtbij het geklede strand. De nieuwe locatie heeft een ongunstige ligging op de zon.

General

The former sand extraction lakes are located south of Breda The Galderse Meren.
The Galderse Meren consists of a large and a small lake south of the A58, which are connected to each other and a lake on the north side of the A58. Bee the lake on the north side of the A58, the so-called Noordplas all recreation has been prohibited since 2009.

On the north side of the Galderse Meren, against the A58, since 1979 nude recreation allowed on beach E. The area is signposted and official nude recreation allowed from April 1 to October 1. The nudist beach has a number of sunbathing areas with a section of sandy beach water. On the north side is the slope of the A58, with forests. Because it nudist beach is close to the A58, there is some noise pollution. By means of measures taken by the municipality, the years long seem to have come to an end geese (poop) nuisance. There is a toilet on site (at the beginning), but there are none otherwise Services. There is a food truck in the P4 parking lot when the beach weather is good.

The nudist beach also has its own (private) Facebook page, where you can find the most current information. To register can be done via the Facebook page. Organize the regular visitors to the nudist beach for years on January 1 at 2:00 PM New Year's dive, where everyone is welcome.

The bathing water has a defined area with a maximum depth of 0.75 meters. Due to the low water level in the lake, the water depth is here currently about 0.25 meters and the demarcated area is too shallow to swimming. Outside this area, the bathing water quickly becomes deeper. Because the swimming water is clear and clean, the depth difference is clearly visible. The swimming water has a beautiful blue color.

Het zwemseizoen is momenteel gesloten, vanaf 1 mei wordt de zwemwaterkwaliteit weer gecontroleerd.
