Due to its central location in the heart of the Bollenstreek, Noordwijk has been nicknamed the 'Flower seaside resort of Europe'. The 13 kilometer long beach of Noordwijk is largely adjacent to the beautiful nature reserve Hollands Duin. Nudist recreation is permitted on two quiet sections of the beach north of Noordwijk.

Nude recreation is permitted between posts 78.0 and 79.5. (approximately between beach entrances 24 and 22). The area is signposted.
There are no facilities on the nudist beach. The beach pavilion De Zeespiegel is located at the beach entrance Duindamseslag.
There is no direct bath supervision on the nudist beach, the nearest rescue station is at the beach entrance Duindamseslag.
