The former island of Goeree-Overflakkee became part of the implementationof the Delta Works with 5 dams connected to the South Hollandislands and Schouwen Duiveland in Zeeland. On the west sideis the 6.5 km long Brouwersdam that closes off the Grevelingenthe North Sea. On this dam is located about halfway, on the borderwith Zeeland, the large holiday park Port Zélande.
Goeree-Overflakkee has no officially designated nudist beach,making the almost 30 km long North Sea beach between Rockanje andRenesse is the largest textile beach in the Netherlands.
At beach entrance 12: t Gorsje at the beginning of the Brouwersdam,nude recreation takes place, although stated on the information boardsstates that nude recreation is prohibited here. The quiet beachpart, ideal for naturism, is located about 300 metersto the right of the Beach club 't Gorsje. The tolerance zone is locatedapproximately between the beach poles 18.75 and 18.00.Nude recreation is done here by most visitors.
There are no facilities on the nudist beach area. On theThere is no bathing supervision on the entire beach at 't Gorsje. Onbeach de Kous on the Brouwersdam sea side (at pole 21) is arescue station available.
