The gate to the nature and recreation area. The area is grazed by Galloway cattle and Konik horses. An unpaved walking path runs along Bison Bay (on the dike).
There is a bicycle shed directly behind the entrance gate. This is completely protected from grazing cattle.
At the beginning, close to the dike, is the part for textile recreation.

The area behind the Bison Bay is also accessible through a number of paths, created by the walking route of grazing cattle and visitors. There are a number of beautiful Waal beaches here.
The Waal beaches at the rear are also used for (on a limited scale) nude recreation. This photo was taken on a busy summer day at the Bison Bay; peacefully quiet.
